Chances are, you need to stretch more.

Enjoy your cheat meals, just not too often.

Read a book instead of watching TV.

Snow happens (at least in Iowa).  It’s not the end of the world.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch should be in everyone’s top 3 cereals.

Laugh more.  Especially at yourself.



Learn to deadlift correctly.  It’ll add years to your life.

Walk more.  (Is it spring yet?)

Look people in the eye when you’re talking to them.

Casey’s pizza is delicious.

Some may say I contradict myself.

Quit worrying so much about what others think.

Sometimes you just gotta do curls.  But never in the squat rack.

Store-bought juice is not a health food.

Invest in yourself by getting a massage periodically.  Even you men.

I sort of want to make a Harlem Shake video.  Any takers?

Blindly following cross fit workouts will hurt you.

Scaling cross fit workouts to your fitness level is a good idea.

Lot’s of opportunities arise if we only keep our eyes open.

Learn how to breathe and take time to do so daily.

Start doing farmers walks in the gym.

Jump, skip, and hop more.

Twizzler bites are better than nibs.

Check out the sleep cycle apps on your smart phone.  Pretty cool.

Change is hard but necessary.

Training is more about mental fortitude than muscle.

Don’t run your mouth on the basketball court.

Seeing a friend in pain sucks.

You’re never too old to learn how to use the TV remote or a cell phone.  (love you mom)

It’s easy to be fat and out of shape.

March Madness is the single best tournament in sports.



Wrestling should always be in the Olympics.

If I only had one item to train with, it would be a kettlebell.

Take vitamin D during the winter months.

Unfriending on fbook is simply de-cluttering.  Blocking means I strongly dislike you.

Kids should try every sport they can growing up.

Cartoons were better 20+ years ago.

Bunkers Dunkers is a true small town gem.

People are too accepting of mediocrity.

Sometimes just hanging out with family is all you need.

Sometimes family isn’t always by blood.

Knowing when to move on and actually moving on can be tough.

Sunshine makes even the coldest days more bearable.
