Week In Review 11/1/13

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!

We had a fun time at the gym getting dressed up:)

As you may know, or will learn quickly, Dan John is my favorite coach to listen to and read.  His writings are often humorous in nature, but always simple to understand.  Learn from his wisdom.

Saw a friend post this online recently…pure awesome.

We like to use resistance bands in many different ways at our gym.  Stick with me here…this is a great write up on alternative ways to use bands by Eric Cressey, via Dean Somerset’s website, that I found via The Personal Trainer Development Center.  Round about I know, but a cool, short read with video demonstrations.

Optimal Water Intake

Finishing up this week is a brief video I made recently covering some kettlebell basics that I like to use on a regular basis.  These exercises can be a great warm-up with a lighter bell, or a stand alone workout, increasing the weight of the bell as tolerable from set to set.  Play around with the rep ranges, use good form with good control, and enjoy!

Have a Super weekend:)
