Train Your Brain (Mental Muscle)

Body, mind, spirit.

We often discuss that the health of all three are vital for overall well-being, but how are you training these different qualities?

Let’s talk about the mind today.

Training the body is relatively easy…sets, reps, get stronger, eat better, get your sleep.

Check out today’s video as we discuss how we train the mind.

“Books are a man’s best friend.” -Dr. Ed Cole

As I said, one of the greatest mistakes many people make in their life is to quit reading; to quit learning.

Start with 10 pages a day, or 15 minutes a day.

Read something over breakfast in the morning.

Read to wind down before bed. You’ll sleep better than if you simply watch TV

Here’s a short list of some of my favorite mental nourishment:

  1. The Traveler’s Gift: Seven Decisions That Determine Personal Success by Andy Andrews
  2. Treasure: Uncovering Patterns and Principles That Create Prosperity by Dr. Ed Cole
  3. How to Think Like a Millionaire by Mark Fisher and Marc Allen

I would consider these very easy and enjoyable reads.

Invest the time and energy into yourself…and you’ll be happy with the return.

Grow strong(er).

Live. Love. Lift.

*I did hyperlink the above books to my Amazon account.  If you choose to invest in any of them, I may make a couple bucks.  I will never promote a product or resource I haven’t personally used and recommend without reservation.
