Spring break in this household.
Plenty of spring cleaning. But plenty of sleeping in and having some fun while we’re at it.
Can you top a Pitch Perfect movie marathon?
Didn’t think so 🎶🤣
We’re once again doing Whole 30 this March (Heather and I). You can see a little lunch we prepared recently – grilled burgers, homemade guacamole, sliced tomato, and romaine lettuce leaves for buns.
Winston thought he should be included as we start to play some games.
All three boys thought mom’s chair should be the official nap location. The blonde one is Kobe. Winston is in Mom’s lap. Charles couldn’t be bothered.
Typical breakfast for me: scrambled eggs with spinach and chicken. Salsa spiced things up on this day.
You may wonder why we choose to live a healthier life.
It’s not much more effort than anyone else is giving. You just have to direct your effort with intention.
Whole 30 is a huge mental challenge rather than physical. I don’t think we properly grasp the emotional hold food has on all of us.
Greg Glassman recently used the phrase, “Off the couch and off the carbs.”
Off the couch and off the carbs.

If you take one thing away from this post let it be that mantra.
Get moving – no matter how little you think it is – and keep moving.
Put some good, quality fuel (food) in your body. You only get one. Take good care of it.
Till we meet again.
Live. Love. Lift.
